Swyx Launches V6

Swyx has announced details of the latest additions to its SwyxWare V.6.0 range of pure IP-based 'business class' IP telephony products

The breadth of new products will enable Swyx's channel partners to target the whole gamut of IP telephony users from the mass-market consumer/SOHO market through to large Enterprises and Service Providers. According to Swyx Version 6.0 boasts more resilience, is easier to install and can be remotely configured and managed, thus saving on on-site support. As part of the new suite of products, Swyx now has a new sub 10-user package for small business, and a more affordable product aimed at enterprises with branch offices. SIP service providers will also be able to benefit from being able to package a new single user SIP/peer-to-peer product, that they can re-brand to give smaller businesses and consumers a flavour of 'business class' telephony.

Commenting on the announcement of Swyx's new product range, Senior Vice President of Sales, Andy Bills said: "Our channel partners will now be able to market a single, unique and ubiquitous platform, that offers massive scalability for IP Telephony that will target all market segments.

The scope of the new products will address any size of market, from the huge sub 10-user market up to a multi-site, multi-thousand user implementation. The new Swyx offering will also enable Service Providers and System Integrators the opportunity to offer Swyx products into their channels and end user communities in the knowledge that the deployments can be supported through CPA (Customer Premise Application), CPE (Customer Premise Equipment), Managed or Hosted IP PBX models, or basic SIP VoIP services, giving service providers flexibility and ease of deployment while giving them consistency of product offer and investment protection for their future infrastructure".

He continued, "Swyx is the only vendor that does not depend on proprietary hardware, therefore our channel partners are able to offer more flexibility and more functionality to more customers. The new product range will allow resellers to build tailored IP telephony solutions that can add genuine value, whilst in-turn providing their SME and enterprise customers with a business-class, secure, resilient, IP telephony platform that will scale across all parts of their business. With the new Swyx product set, everybody wins."
