Swyx Reports European Q3 Revenues up 46%

Swyx a market-leading vendor of IP telephony solutions has today announced its Q3 2007 results. Total European sales revenues for July to September 2007 increased over 46% compared with its Q3 results for 2006. Swyx’s key European markets include Germany, UK, Netherlands and Scandinavia.

Swyx CEO Guenter Junk commented, “These results once again provide a convincing argument that our strategy of focusing on the fast-growing ‘pure’ IP telephony sector is the correct one to follow. Demand for a future-proofed and flexible product like SwyxWare continues to grow as more as more organisations, large and small, recognise the business benefits this technology brings compared with the likes of traditional and hybrid TDM-based systems.”

He continues, “We are also very encouraged by the reaction of our channel to two new initiatives, the ‘Swyx Sales Simulator’ and our ‘Jump Start’ programme, that are aimed at making it easier for existing resellers identify and close sales opportunities as well as providing traditional voice resellers with a painless transition from selling hardware products towards selling software-based IP telephony.”

He concludes, “During the next quarter channel partners and end-users can look forward to an enhanced product line with new features and upgrades that will help maximise the new mobility opportunities created from Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) and the flexibility of hosting.”

Martin Hatcher, Chairman of Swyx UK distributor MTV Telecom commented, “These figures are much in line with our own figures. Swyx sales continues to grow quarter and quarter with resellers reporting high degrees of satisfaction with the product which they find to be highly flexible in meeting user need.”
