Sylantro Push in to EMEA

Eric Wilson, who has recently been appointed to oversee day-to-day management and operations of Sylantro’s EMEA business says the hosted IP telephony platform vendor is making a strengthened commitment to expanding its organisation and resources in EMEA by actively recruiting in the UK and other parts of region.

“Engineering and support groups are expanding in the double digits to enhance support and development capacity and in the summer we established a UK-based subsidiary, Sylantro Systems EMEA Ltd, as the new regional HQ for EMEA.

Sylantro has 8 customers in 7 countries in the EMEA region with a significant number of additional trial systems in the region, in various stages of evaluation. We are very confident that the existing and new reseller and OEM agreements and partnerships the company has in place will provide very significant momentum for growth, and accelerating growth.”

Wilson concludes, “Sylantro is adding new customers month-by-month, with our newest customers located in North Europe and Central/East Europe, as well as new trial systems ordered for South Europe.”

In the UK, Reading based AlwaysON use the Sylantro platform and their George Zeremba told Comms Business Magazine,

“AlwaysON are delighted to welcome Eric to Sylantro and to Europe. He has already spent time with AlwaysON in an in-depth review of the Sylantro and AlwaysON development plans. AlwaysON remains fully committed to the Sylantro platform which is the leading platform in the industry measured by live customers, and has been selected by Microsoft for its Enhanced VoIP Solutions.”
