TalkTalk Wholesale Services has appointed Ruth Kennedy to the role of chief sales officer.

Kennedy has been with TalkTalk Group for ten years and has made significant contributions in a variety of roles, both in wholesale and most recently as group fibre development director. Managing director of wholesale Richard Thompson will also be leaving TalkTalk after over 20 years of service.

TalkTalk Wholesale Services serves the needs of business and public sector customers nationwide, working with over 650 partners. Its business-grade communications products and services include connectivity and networking, hosted solutions, voice and IP telephone systems.

Nick Gunga, managing director of TalkTalk Wholesale Services welcomed Kennedy into the role, commenting: “She’s ideally placed to ensure we keep both our partners and customers at the heart of everything we do as we push towards a future based around full fibre and higher bandwidth data services.”

In a statement announcing her appointment, Kennedy added: “High quality affordable connectivity is such a fundamental plank of everyday life that it’s no surprise that an increasing number of companies in all sorts of sectors are looking to offer it to their customers. I’m looking forward to showing them we are the ideal partner, which we are.”
