Taylor Made Makes New Appointments as MD Says Farewell

Nigel Taylor is signalling picking up the reins of his company Fareham based Taylor Made Computer Solutions with two new appointments to the board.

Chairman Nigel is back running the IT company he founded with his wife Aly more than 20 years ago following the departure of managing director Tim Walker, who is looking for a change of direction and leaves the business at the end of September.

Joining the board as finance director is Joe Jeffers, who has spent many years in industry and private practice and Matt Faulkner, who assumes the role of technical director having been promoted internally. Aly Taylor resumes the role of HR director and Ian Lockwood remains commercial director.

Nigel Taylor said: “These are exciting times for the company and being back at the helm is terrific. Without doubt running Taylor Made is my passion and I’m very much looking forward to taking things to the next level with these new additions to the board. Their experience and understanding of the market give us even more strength.”

Paying tribute to outgoing managing director Tim Walker, Nigel said: “Over three years Tim has made a significant contribution to the company for which I’m very grateful. He has achieved so much and, following long discussions with us, he feels it’s time to move on which he does with our blessing. The move has been brilliantly amicable and we wish Tim well for the future.”
