Team Building Revealed as Key to Surviving Businesses

Struggling British firms can watch and learn from the strongest, as David Cameron launches his ‘Great’ campaign this month, to showcase British firms and promote the UK as a place to visit and do business.

“The secret of success for most of our strongest companies are their staff. These companies are still investing heavily in making their teams more productive and effective.” according to business team building expert, Martin Clark, Creative Director of CCC Events.

Clark explains: “We are working with over half of the FTSE 100 companies, including Google, GE and American Express. These businesses are still strong and growing, despite the recession, and the decision makers tell us their strength is in their staff and how strong they are as a team. Our growing business is testament to this, as they are putting their money where their mouth is.”

“Now is the time to invest in business teams,” continues Clark. “This is a time when businesses need their teams to really pull together and go the extra mile for their company and colleagues. There is a massive need for team building and it doesn’t have to be expensive. Our most popular events are all exceptional value, but more importantly, deliver tangible results. It is amazing what a motivated team can achieve and if we were not delivering we would not be getting so much repeat business.”

CCC, who won the coveted Team Building Company of the Year at the UK Event Awards earlier this week, delivered 484 team building events in the last year to companies who are still seeing the benefits of investing in their staff.

“Our clients’ companies are doing well, and although everyone is tightening their belts in these difficult economic times, they are still prioritising spend on making their workforce stronger, more loyal, more productive and more effective. It seems obvious, but is often an area in which companies cut back in hard times.”
