TeamViewer Takes Aim at the Channel

TeamViewer has expanded its salesforce with two industry veterans to specifically reach enterprise clients and the channel. The appointment of Konstantin Ebert as Director of Channels and Kay Niederfahrenhorst as Director Enterprise Accounts EMEA are in line with TeamViewer’s new sales strategy.

In his new role as Director of Channels, Ebert will be responsible for establishing and building the channel ecosystem for TeamViewer, while also leveraging partnerships and devising different business models.

Since joining TeamViewer at the beginning of this year, Kay Niederfahrenhorst has been driving the Key Account Management and enterprise level accounts business in the EMEA region. Strategic alliances and product integrations will fuel this initiative substantially.

Konstantin Ebert joins TeamViewer with 15 years of sales experience in some renowned companies such as T-Systems, Fujitsu and most recently, NetApp. Kay Niederfahrenhorst joined TeamViewer from NetApp, where he worked as Sales Director. His profile is bolstered by over 15 years of experience in sales. They will both report directly to Martin Geier, Senior Vice President Sales, Services, and Support.

“By reinforcing our sales department with these experienced personnel, we are striving to strengthen our relationship with enterprise and mid-sized enterprise clients,” said Andreas König, CEO of TeamViewer. “Additionally, we are now establishing a solid channel and partner model.”
