M2M & IoT
Tech Data has signed an exclusive agreement to bring the iHealth range of personal health products to the UK. iHealth designs and makes products that make it easier for people to take a more active role in measuring, tracking and sharing their health data.

The range includes blood pressure monitors, blood glucose monitors, body analysis scales, pulse oximeters (for measuring oxygen levels) and activity and sleep trackers. They all come with a free mobile app for monitoring, viewing, storing health information. All data is stored securely in the cloud. As well as these consumer products, iHealth offers enterprise solutions that can be used by organisations to connect healthcare professionals and patients.

Commenting on the agreement, Michael Cain, Business Development Manager for New Technologies at Tech Data, said: “The iHealth range is a great addition to our portfolio. This is a very exciting and rapidly growing area of the market and one with massive potential. The connected health marketplace is effectively about helping people better understand the signals our bodies send out, so we as individuals can become the key player in our own healthcare. iHealth’s comprehensive ecosystem enables you to calculate your health data, track your results and securely share them with your health professionals. This is a huge step forward. Together we’re going to be investing strongly in raising awareness and developing business for personal and corporate digital healthcare products over the next few months, so this is an important signing for us.”

Stephane Kerrie, CEO of iHealth, added: “We’re delighted to partner with Tech Data in the UK. This deal helps advance our growth plans and allows us to reach more major retail, specialist and online channels.”
