Tech Data Launches New Tools for SMB Resellers

Tech Data has launched a new set of online tools for SMB resellers, including a streamlined Marketing Portal that gives them access to a huge choice of template emails, web banners and white papers from top-name vendors, and a set of Web Store options with a simple data feed provided free of charge.

These brand new resources are being made easily accessible through Tech Data Accelerate, an SMB-focused microsite that also provides quick links to Tech Data’s Credit Elevator, Vendor Partner Programmes and Events.

The new Marketing Portal has been developed to provide a fast and easy way for resellers to quickly produce customer emails from a range of marketing templates, which they can further enhance with their own messages, links and contact details. Over 30 vendors are represented in the portal, including HP, Microsoft, and Samsung providing SMB messaging, and Public Sector-focused messages provided by Cisco, Dell, Lenovo and others. The template emails focus on a wide spectrum of topics and messages, to product announcements and tactical pricing promotions. Resellers can simply mix and match messages to achieve a broad market appeal.

The Tech Data Web Store service is also accessible via the Accelerate pages. Resellers and retailers that register can make use of a simple data feed free of charge, enabling them to offer display details and pricing of Tech Data’s entire portfolio within their own website. For £395 per annum, resellers can have their own ecommerce site with fully-functioning shopping cart, allowing customers to place orders online with them. Tech Data will despatch orders directly to the end user in the reseller’s name. A full website construction and maintenance service is also available for £995 per annum.
