Tech Data Mobile Emphasises Partnerships at MWC

At Mobile World Congress next week, the Tech Data Mobile UK team will be placing a strong emphasis on developing strategic initiatives and services propositions in partnerships with resellers and suppliers, and key market opportunities and trends and how the company and its partners can address them.

Tech Data Mobile expects to make a number of important strategic UK-specific announcements at MWC 2016, including significant new vendor partnerships and initiatives.

Matt Child, UK Managing Director of Tech Data Mobile, stated: “This is a really exciting time for our industry as the concept of mobility is becoming ever more ingrained in all our daily lives, meaning there is an increasing need for the kind of value-added services and integrated solutions offered by Tech Data Mobile. MWC 2016 gives us the perfect opportunity to meet face-to-face with established partners and new players from across the industry in order to plan for growth in this exciting new world of converged technology.”

Now in its fourth consecutive participation at MWC, Tech Data Mobile will once again create a strong and distinctive presence at the event, fully embracing MWC 2016’s theme of “Mobile is Everything” by highlighting Tech Data’s capacity to provide end-to-end services and solutions in a rapidly converging technology ecosystem, while underlining Tech Data Mobile’s ability to enable growth through strong partnerships with all the key players in the mobility channel.

The Tech Data Mobile stand will be sponsored by key partner including Lenovo – Motorola and Microsoft. It will also showcase the solutions and services offered by supporting partners including data privacy company Silent Circle and mobile security specialist Lookout. Microsoft will be demonstrating how its new large touch-screen device, the Surface Hub, harnesses the power of cutting-edge cloud technology and the Windows 10 operating system to deliver a truly mobile and interactive solution for enhanced business collaboration.

Tech Data Mobile will be represented in the MWC 2016 conference agenda as Stephen Nolan, Senior Vice President of Tech Data Mobile, joins a panel of industry experts for a discussion on the topic of “Co-Opetition and Managed Services in the Digital Value Chain”. Nolan will appear alongside John Lagerling, VP, Mobile Partnerships, Facebook, and Marc Halbfinger, CEO, PCCW, to explore how vendors, operators, distributors and resellers are adapting to the ever-changing technology ecosystem, as the emergence of IoT and X-as-a-service opens up new opportunities and business models.
