Telecomplete Launch QIPS

Telecomplete are pleased to announce the launch of QIPS (Quality Intelligent Packet Switching). QIPS is an IP network technology for companies looking to achieve a convergence-friendly platform for all business communications delivered over Telecomplete’s core network using a mixture of Ethernet, SDH or DSL circuits.

The company says QIPS service is an ideal solution for multi site organisations, companies with a large number of home or remote workers and companies looking to speed up their inter-office communications in a cost effective way. With QIPS, a traffic profile is created so voice, data, web and video are prioritised and bandwidth is allocated to each service as determined by the demands of the business.

QIPS allows for the secure, prioritised exchange of business critical information within a VPN supported by a SLA and offers all the control and flexibility required by 21CN bandwidth sensitive applications. This means business can be more efficient in the way in which they use their network and connectivity, so reducing costs and streamlining operations.

Telecomplete’s QIPS Service is also a platform for bandwidth intensive applications such as a business class VoIP service, especially as QIPS supports Quality of Service.

QIPS is designed to be work with existing routers and switching equipment as well as being an excellent enabling technology for the next generation of Internet applications and services.

Director Mark Salvin, comments ‘QIPS is part of Telecomplete’s on-going commitment to converged solutions. For companies looking to embrace the operational and financial efficiencies offered by IP convergence, especially IP telephony, this is the ideal foundation. The technology is secure, reliable and with our range of connectivity products and VoIP solutions, companies will have complete control over their business communications strategy.’
