TeleWare Extends UK Channel

TeleWare today announced at Comms Channel Expo a new UK Channel Partner to enhance their service offering with a simple and concise approach to converged telephony solutions.

ICOM4 is a cutting edge telecommunications company, based in Coventry, that was set up by four local entrepreneurs last March and now employs more than 40 staff on-site as well as further sales people on the road. Their products range from simple mobile, VoIP, mobility, CRM and data solutions to complex IP VPN, hosted or CPE application services and solutions for a wide customer base, extending from one-man bands to large multinational concerns. ICOM4 have determined that there is a growing opportunity for providing easy-to-use and simple-to-install telephony solutions for homeworkers and multi-site organisations that will provide all of the telephony functionality supported by a corporate PBX, including more sophisticated features such as call recording, IVR and messaging capabilities, while protecting the privacy and security of the homeworkers by using a personal number unrelated to the user’s home address.

“The ICOM4 approach is refreshing and we believe has the capacity to get good traction in the market,” said Peter Orr, Sales Director for TeleWare. “This approach offers customers a complete and high quality communications solution with options for integration with internal or hosted applications, also additional mobility options, clearly differentiating ICOM4’s offering from other offerings in the market today,” added Orr.

“Our solution is designed to deliver the promise of high quality service with true flexibility; we are using innovative technologies to provide efficient communications services,” said Lee Cassidy, Technical Director for ICOM4.

ICOM4 are a fully trained TeleWare hosted services partner with the solutions and relationships in place to deliver the TeleWare services using the Tiscali Business network. The ICOM4 homeworker and multi-site offering is provided as a service, including the provisioning and installation of connectivity, IP Telephony and, optionally, thin client desktop platforms linked to the organisations systems through a secure VPN over a reliable MPLS based network.

“The key is to make the transition of an office worker to the home as simple and painless as possible, providing the services and support mechanisms required for them to be productive as soon as possible. To provide proactive support, the connectivity and all devices in the worker’s home are continually monitored for availability and performance; the devices can be quickly reconfigured or replaced, if required,” added Cassidy.

“ICOM4 are offering its end users and business partners the most feature rich and resilient service available in today’s convergence market. By truly providing a fully scalable managed end-to-end service, with fully accredited technical support, complete back office infrastructure with an optional white labelled billing bureau service, allows our existing and new business partners to focus on winning new long term business and, just as importantly, secure their existing base, hence reducing churn considerably. We are actively looking for more new business partners to further distribute this and other new offerings and anticipate significant growth opportunities over the next six months,” added Jaz Sangha, Managing Director for ICOM4.

TeleWare is delighted to have been short listed for three of the award categories at the Comms Channel Awards:
