TeleWare Restructure to Meet Increased Demand

TeleWare, the provider of communications solutions for mobile and distributed workers, has today announced a restructuring to create greater accountability and enable swift delivery of services to the increasing number of Hosted Communications customers taking the TeleWare applications based on the Software as a Service (SaaS) model.

The new organisational structure increases the emphasis on customer service and support. Paul Millar will move into a new role as Technical and Services Director, assuming responsibility for all help desk, training and infrastructure and integration aspects of the services. Paul joined the Board of TeleWare Plc as Development Director in 2001 and has been instrumental in the implementation of development processes and procedures, resulting in the Company achieving the TickIT element of the ISO 9000:2000 standard. In his new role, Paul will be focussed on the timely and rapid resolution of issues and the rapid deployment of new services.

In addition, two new senior management roles have been created based on internal promotions. Alan Lait will take over as Director of Development and Ged Cooney will move from his present role as Legal Advisor to a newly created position of Director of Legal & Commercial and assumes responsibility for all commercial aspects of the business.

“As our business grows, it is important that the structure evolves to reflect changing needs of our customer base,” commented Steve Haworth, CEO of TeleWare plc. “These changes reflect the increasing importance of the hosted IP Centrex and Private Mobile Networks aspects of our product range and we believe they will have a positive impact on the support and service we are able to offer both our channel partners and our customer base.”
