TeleWare Teams up with Conjungo to Help its Channel Partners

TeleWare, the provider of intelligent hosted and on-premise communication solutions to businesses and service providers, has announced the details of a new initiative to help its growing UK channel capitalise on the demand for IP telephony.

TeleWare has partnered with Conjungo, a new business search portal and directory aimed at technology buyers, to deliver complete profiles on over 15 TeleWare partners across both hosted and on-premise equipment channels. These partner profiles will be available at the official launch of Conjungo planned for September of this year.

“Using Conjungo as part of our channel marketing programme enables TeleWare to drive leads into our partners and support their lead-generation efforts,” said Lesley Hansen, Group Marketing Director for TeleWare plc. “We have taken out a range of sponsorship and online advertising to promote our solutions to the buying community and, in addition, have provided our entire UK channel partners with fully searchable listings within the portal to ensure they maximise their ranking within Conjungo at point of search,” added Hansen.

Conjungo, a service from Global Technology Media Limited, is a unique, vendor agnostic, free-to-use search portal and directory that will enable potential buyers of technology to identify a range of solution providers. Search results are achieved by using effective filters, including country and specific region, solution type, company size and industry expertise which allows the user to generate a comprehensive list of suppliers within seconds. It is the first UK search portal of its kind that offers this type of granular information in one place.

“Conjungo is a completely independent search portal with results based on search criteria and not advertising deals,” comments David Cruse, COO and Founder for Conjungo. “The value of the service is derived from the richness of our data, so we welcome the input of forward thinking vendors who can assist us populate our database with the accurate channel information and relevant accreditations. Our goal is to make Conjungo a useful tool for bringing together buyers and solution providers from every business and technology sector,” added Cruse.

Conjungo, Latin meaning ‘to unite’ – is in the final stages of gathering partner details, having already undergone rigorous system testing and is scheduled to launch in Q3 of 2007. The launch of the site will include activities to raise awareness of the brand and portal, including online and offline advertising, as well as a Trusted Advisor programme with organisations such as the Association of Chartered Accountants and the Communications Management Association. Conjungo also has the tacit approval of organisations such as The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) and The European Institute of Purchasing Management (EIPM).

The listing is completely free for TeleWare channel partners and each partner has access to the data listed on the Conjungo portal, allowing them to amend as necessary to ensure all details are accurately and professionally presented. The partnership with Conjungo is part of a range of TeleWare channel initiatives, including the switch to a multi tier partner programme announced last year, an expanded partner training schedule, a deal-registration portal to help avoid channel conflict and a recent expansion of its distribution channel into Ireland.
