Telstra Europe, one of the UK’s leading alternative business telephony and internet suppliers, is demonstrating its commitment to the voice reseller channel by sponsoring the ‘Switchless Reseller of The Year’ category at this year’s Comms Channel Awards 2006.
This award recognises the performance of the best switchless resellers in the industry and the winner will be announced at a gala dinner on 10th May 2006 at the National Motor Cycle Museum, Birmingham.
Ben LeFeuvre, Manager of Indirect Sales at Telstra Europe comments, “This is a hugely relevant industry award for Telstra to support. We actually started our UK channel by offering high quality telecoms services to switchless resellers. Three years on, we have seen numerous new market entrants, from big brand supermarkets to energy companies through to traditional voice resellers, demonstrating the strong growth and value of the UK voice market. We are 100% committed to developing our voice channel and we are delighted to be supporting our indirect channel by sponsoring this prestigious award.”
“Whilst we have an extensive data portfolio our voice channel remains integral to our business. Soon we will be expanding our services by launching exciting new converged services which will offer our indirect channel new opportunities to work with us to further grow and develop their businesses,” he added.
Telstra Europe has been shortlisted as a finalist in three categories of this year’s awards – Network Operator of the Year, ISP of the Year and the Channel Development award.
The Comms Channel Awards have now been running for four years. They are jointly organised between Comms Business Magazine and VNU Exhibitions, owners of Comms Channel Expo.
