Tempest has appointed a new Head of Operations in line with its recent expansion plans.

Sean Bailey, 43, brings almost a decade of telecoms experience to the company, which offers a total solution to the communications industry.

His role involves the management of billing, which includes bureau, printing, reseller support and administration.

Bailey’s previous workings within the industry include both fixed line and mobile, while working at Caudwell Communications, part of the larger Caudwell Group.

He said: “Tempest is key to driving down the costs of our partner companies by delivering a cost effective billing solution.

“My job is to make this happen effectively, as well as to drive our expansion with new customers and leverage our strong relationships with the carriers.”

Rob Sims, Tempest Managing Director, said: “We are delighted to have Sean onboard as Tempest’s Head of Operations. It is an exciting time for the company, which has seen a lot of change and growth within the last year and we know Sean will play a key part in driving business forward from here on.”

Sean, a Manchester United fan, has a Maths Degree from Imperial College London and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte.

Before finding his niche in the telecoms industry, he carried out accounting roles for several retail organisations, which led into systems implementation and process improvement.
