Tesco Mobile has announced the appointment of Simon Groves as Chief Marketing Officer. Simon will become a member of the senior executive team, reporting to Roger Fogg, Chief Executive of Tesco Mobile and Tesco Telecoms.
In his role, Simon will be responsible for all customer facing marketing and brand activities, driving revenue, profit, service levels and growing Tesco Mobile’s customer base.
Simon joins Tesco Mobile from his role as Head of Brand, Marketing and Customer Experience Strategy at Telefonica UK (O2) where he was for 12 years. Simon was responsible for developing the O2 UK brand and marketing strategy, and defining and driving customer experience strategy and plans for the UK.
