TFM Networks Partners with Neos for Long-Haul Ethernet

Virtual Network Operator TFM Networks has announced it is partnering with leading infrastructure provider Neos Networks to meet the growing business demand for long-haul Ethernet solutions.

The partnership will enable TFM Networks to deliver highly resilient, cost-effective wide area network solutions, to support increasing voice and data communications over the business network.

TFM Networks chose to partner with Neos Networks because of its highly resilient secure network infrastructure which delivers highly competitive pricing and high quality service level agreement – both of which will bring real and tangible benefits to TFM Networks’ customer base.

Uptake of long-haul Ethernet is predicted to grow at over 15% in 2008, driven by the requirement for services such as data archiving and disaster recovery. Neos is well placed to exploit this growth, and its recent network acquisitions show the company is fully committed to expansion in the UK

Customers will also benefit from increased security and network reliability to ensure business continuity at critical sites. As part of Scottish and Southern Electric, Neos Networks has the resilience and capability to ensure their networks are secure and reliable.

Brett Rowe, sales and marketing director at TFM Networks said, “This new partnership will bring our customers high quality, resilient and cost-effective Ethernet connectivity from one of the industry’s most advanced and leading edge providers.”

Stuart Bale, account manager at Neos Networks said, “TFM is a natural partner for Neos, having shown impressive market growth. Customers will benefit from their innovative approach to network deployments, as well as having Ethernet connectivity in place to meet emerging business needs.”

Neos Networks provide telecoms services to over 500 customers including many of the world’s leading carriers, ISPs, mobile operators, large and medium enterprise customers, and public sector organisations. It was the first company to provide National Ethernet services and boasts a 4,500 km national network.

The partnership with Neos Networks will enable TFM to continue to deliver cost effective and reliable IP network solutions. It is committed to making its customers’ network profitable, and to ensuring customers derive maximum business benefits from their network, making the IP network economical through continuous cost reduction and innovative new services.
