Several companies that contribute to the UK Channel ecosystem have been featured in The Sunday Times Sage Tech Track 100, which ranks private tech companies with the fastest-growing sales over the last three years. These include Sipcom, Plan.com, TelcoSwitch, FourNet, Person Centred Software and StarLeaf.

Cloud and managed services provider FourNet says its first-time ranking marks a significant period of growth. Over the past three years, it has quadrupled its turnover over the past three years and has grown from a staff of 35 to over 100.

Richard Pennington, CEO of FourNet, said, “We are immensely proud to be in such esteemed company in this the 20th anniversary year of the Sunday Times league table.

“We’ve been ranked for the very first time in the top 100 in a year in which many obstacles have been put in the place of businesses across the UK. We have weathered the storm well. Considering how many technology companies there are out there – this is an accolade we will treasure, as we look forward to the next 12 months.”

During the same period, Sipcom experienced 140% year on year growth in 2019. Daniel Allen, founder and CEO ,Sipcom, commented, “We are delighted and deeply proud to announce that we’ve become members of this elite club. The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 is an incredibly prestigious league table that is held in high esteem by business leaders across the world. Despite the global challenge of Covid-19 that all businesses have faced, we have had an incredible year so far and this award is a real testament to the Sipcom team’s constant hard work and dedication to our clients.”

Hosted voice, unified communications, and compliance solution provider TelcoSwitch also featured in the list. Russell Lux, TelcoSwitch founder and CEO, said, “This is a very special moment for everyone at TelcoSwitch. We know how strong our platform and our offering to the market is, both commercially and in terms of how we support our customers and partners. But to be recognised in such a prestigious list is a key milestone on our journey.

“In a market where there are a number of very big players, the fact that we’re here, thriving in such uncertain times, shows we have something that customers and partners really value.”

This year’s special Covid-19 edition of the Sage Tech Track 100 highlights the important contribution that technology companies have made to the UK during the pandemic, from supporting the NHS to enabling remote working.

FourNet says it helped thousands of private and public sector employees move to remote working during the pandemic. Among them were 6,000 Bank of England and 2,000 npower staff. FourNet also enabled South East Coast Ambulance Service and other blue light sector customers to switch their staff seamlessly to work from home, and socially distance, where necessary.
