The Technology Group acquired by Gradwell

Chiltern Capital has added The Technology Group (TTG) to its portfolio. TTG joins Gradwell Communications Limited in the enlarged group; both companies are 3CX Titanium Partners.

TTG and Gradwell will retain their brand identities, with TTG continuing to focus on direct mid-market business whilst Gradwell transitions to a 100 per cent channel business.

Gradwell’s ongoing focus will be selling services on its own platforms such as Wave, its own hosted voice solution and SIP products such as Direct Routing for Teams. TTG will continue to design, install and operate its own fully managed UCaaS solution based on the 3CX platform.

Simon Curry (pictured), Gradwell’s CEO, will lead the combined group. He explained, “TTG is a great strategic fit for Gradwell and gives the group clear capabilities to expertly provision and service larger customers with more sophisticated requirements.”

Jonathan Marsden, founder and CEO of TTG will retain an investment in the combined group and continue to head up the Leeds-based business, driving growth in conjunction with the Gradwell team. Marsden added, “I’m delighted to be working with Chiltern and Gradwell, who share our vision and philosophy for the business in this next exciting chapter ahead.”

The companies said the acquisition almost doubles the size of the group and allows Gradwell to concentrate solely on the channel. TTG will focus on direct business within the group, typically for larger SME and mid-market customers.
