BobThomas, Commercial Director at engineering resource company IP Netix has been crowned Champion Golfer at this years "Escape Commitee" event hosted by Fused Group. The event which took place on the Santa Maria Golf Course near Puerto Banus in Spain was fiercly contested with our own Miles Bossom being a firm favourite to win.
Bossom started badly with a poorly struck tee shot landing in the water in front of the first but managed to find his form on the later stages coming in with 32 points of a handicap of 17. Thomas a rank outsider played well throughout the event carding a fantastic 38 points off a handicap of 21.
Fused's Mark Salvin said "Bob played great and had a good bit of luck when he did mess it up. He could hit out of bounds and still his ball would land on the greens".
Thomas celebrated in Purto Banus's legendary Sinatras bar and was sure to tell all that would listen of his victory. Well done Bob!
