THUS plc has announced that its Network Call Recording service has been approved by PhonepayPlus. Formerly known as ICSTIS (the independent Committee of the Supervision of Standards of the Telephone Information Services), PhonepayPlus is the Industry funded regulatory body of all premium rate charged telecommunications services. It issues a Code of Practice which contains the rules governing the content and promotion of premium rate services, including the need for providers to record certain categories of calls.
THUS say their Network Call Recording is a powerful, highly-featured, simple to use call recording solution. It requires no investment in equipment and can be easily integrated into a customer’s current infrastructure. Any organisation can benefit from THUS Network Call Recording, whether for compliance purposes, quality monitoring or a simple desire to keep records of calls with their customers.
Phil Male, Chief Operating Officer at THUS plc said: “Offering an online call recording service that meets PhonepayPlus’ strict requirements is a clear testament to our focus of delivering quality services to our customers and further demonstrates our commitment to promoting good practice within the telecoms industry. Recording calls is quickly becoming standard across many business sectors as they look to fulfil compliance requirements and reduces litigation risks. THUS Network Call Recording Service provides our customers with the reassurance that they are using a system that will help to ensure they remain compliant with the PhonepayPlus Code of Practice.”
