Timico Brand Consolidation

Timico, the Newark based business-only ISP, has announced a move that will strengthen its position as a leading provider of IP and next generation converged communications services to the UK business community.

From this month, the trading brand names of two companies acquired by Timico in recent months, KeConnect Limited and Twang.net Limited, will be changed to Timico. The combination of all three companies now trading under one brand name will make Timico a stronger and more innovative company going forward, allowing them to service more of the UK’s largest FTSE350 companies, which already include BP, Paypoint and Vodafone.

The consolidation of the brands will provide some key service enhancements to all of Timico’s customers, including extended opening hours for their highly-skilled and experienced Technical Customer Service team and new online portals giving customers access to their accounts and billing information 24 hours a day. The size and scope of the business has also been considerably bolstered, allowing Timico access to a more sophisticated and robust core IP network with improved efficiencies, whilst maintaining the high quality of connection which our business customers demand. The consolidation has ultimately enhanced Timico’s network to a tier 1 capacity level, and widened the range of services provided.

“By combining all three companies under one brand name, it allows us to achieve a strategic aim to further increase the value of our business. With a wider ranging IP network, we can now further leverage our market leading converged services and grow the business to become the UK’s leading supplier of high quality, business strength IP solutions, backed by exceptional personal customer service. This re-branding will still mean ‘business as usual’ in terms of providing our customers and Business Partners with a first class customer experience.” says Chris Tombs, Chief Executive of Timico.
