Titan Telecom Appointments Part of ‘Massive’ Re-Seller Campaign

Manchester based telecoms firm Titan Telecom has appointed a channel sales manager with a brief to increase its outsourced sales partners nationwide.

Chris Peddie joins Titan Telecom specifically to recruit and develop outsourced telesales and field sales agencies to sell the company’s competitive business telecoms services.

Titan Telecom, a subsidiary of the Universal Utilities Group, offers small business customers savings on telephone calls and services, offering a lowest price guarantee whilst keeping them on the BT network.

Speaking of his appointment, Peddie said: “The Titan Telecom proposition stands out in a competitive marketplace and we are looking for high quality sales teams to help us take advantage of the rising prices and worsening customer service offered by the current market leaders.

“Titan Telecom offers a very cost effective route to market for our partner sales agencies with a reward programme based on the number of telephone lines connected.

“Furthermore, Titan Telecom’s re-seller model offers ongoing guidance, training and support to ensure sales companies maximise their revenue.”

Peddie joins Titan Telecom having previously held roles at The Carphone Warehouse Group and O2 and joins two other new recruits in the sales team, with further recruitment planned.

Titan Telecom head of sales, Alex Heslip, added: “Our three new appointments will further assist our objective of aggressively taking market share off the competition in the B2B landline telecoms sector. We are currently adding a thousand new customers every month and we want to double this in the first half of 2010.

“With widely reported customer dissatisfaction and poor service levels offered by our competitors, this is an ideal opportunity for our re-seller network to take advantage of a customer base actively seeking change. “We are entering a golden age for direct utilities sales.”
