The complete Strata range is now based on a single software platform and shared hardware parts, providing unmatched flexibility and investment protection. Each CIX system offers the same feature-rich functionality and can be installed as a TDM, Hybrid-IP or Pure-IP solution (and seamlessly reconfigured as and when customers want to migrate).
The adaptability of the Strata range means businesses now only need to invest in one platform to support all of their changing communications requirements.
The new Toshiba range includes three systems offering differing port capacities;
• Strata CIX100 - expandable to 2 cabinets and providing 112 ports, CIX100 is suitable for organisations up to around 40 extensions.
• Strata CIX200 – expandable to 2 cabinets and providing 192 ports, CIX200 is suitable for organisations up to around 80 extensions.
• Strata CIX670 – expandable to 7 cabinets and providing 672 ports, CIX550 is suitable for organisations up to 500 extensions.
Toshiba’s telephony feature set and functionality is available across the whole Strata CIX products, whether they are configured in TDM, hybrid, or pure IP. The CIX range also includes a number of new reporting tools, management and end-user features, such as built-in Uniform Call Distribution (UCD) and traffic reporting, system alarms, network call logging and VLAN tagging.
The integrated engineering approach behind the Strata CIX range ensures a low total cost of ownership, and migration from TDM to hybrid or pure IP can be made by simple card changes. In addition, cards can be transferred into a larger system if greater capacity is required due to company growth.
