Totem Communications, a provider of inbound call handling solutions, has announced the appointment of John Hayes as Head of Channel Sales.
Hayes joins from BT, where he accrued over 20 years’ experience working across channel, SME and corporate markets. His most recent position was as Head of BT Local Business for the City of London. There he was responsible for 5,000 SMEs with a particular focus on inbound call-handling. Within BT, he has also worked as Account Director to key clients, including SAP, Gillette, Marley, GE, Air Products and Fina.

According to the National Statistics Office, there are 4.3m SMEs and only 1% (Ofcom) of these have a non-geographic number. Even less have intelligent inbound call handling services. As such, the market opportunity for our resellers is huge. John’s experience of the channel market complements that of the existing senior management team and together with Graham Bagby our new Head of Fincance I am confident we have a senior team in place to take the company to the next stage in its ambitious growth plans.
Hayes will report directly to Chris Brassington, CEO, and will be based at Totem’s Manchester headquarters.
