The certification - issued to those who meet the security guidelines stipulated by the CESG: the government’s Information Assurance authority – means that TalkTalk Business’ Wholesale Ethernet, Wholesale ADSL and EFM offerings are now eligible for procurement by public sector organisations who wish to purchase a service slice on their strategic Public Sector Network.
As a result, TalkTalk Business is now able to bid for major contacts from central government, local councils, education authorities – including schools & colleges - and health care trusts, in a move that will significantly strengthen its position since the Public Sector Network scheme was implemented.
