UiPath, the AI and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software company, has announced today the appointment of Gavin Jackson as Senior Vice President and Managing Director EMEA. The hire is set to accelerate the adoption of RPA across the globe within enterprises and public sector organisations, realising the company’s mission to accelerate human performance, through a robot for every person.
Gavin joins UiPath from Amazon Web Service (AWS) where he served as Managing Director for UK and EU countries, leading the teams and implementing strategic initiatives that helped customers benefit from the Cloud-First era. Prior to AWS, Gavin held executive roles in other leading technology companies, including VMware, where he served as Vice President EMEA, and various positions at EMC.
He has joined UiPath at an exciting time of growth: in April, the company secured $568 million in its latest funding round, and in the last two years has grown its annual recurring revenue (ARR) from $8 million to over $200 million, and its valuation from $110 million to $7 billion.
