Pure technology group’s (PTG) annual tech expo is returning to the grounds of its historic Chapelthorpe Hall offices on Friday 14 June – seeing the launch of the firm’s latest services, plus UK-exclusive product launches.

The event – which prides itself on treading beyond the realms of traditional IT expos – will mark the firm’s fourth since its inception in 2016. It will be hosted by the presenter of The Gadget Show, Ortis Deley, and with over 800 delegates, 40 tech partners and five guest speakers in attendance – including the founding editor-in-chief of WIRED magazine's UK edition from 2008 to 2017, David Rowan, and Athletics World Champion Roger Black talking about teamwork – it will be the biggest pt event to date.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the core theme for this year – with pt19 set to demonstrate the most innovative and pioneering AI technologies in the world. There will also be industry-first demonstrations of VR/AR, hologram and security products, as well as the return of robots, drones and advanced electric supercars.

PTG will also be unveiling the latest addition to its suite of services – pureIoT – exploring the several out-of-the-box and bespoke solutions it has developed for businesses.

The holographic emitter technology, hyperVSN, is among the UK exclusives to be making a debut at the event. The world’s first ‘Integrated 3D Holographic Display System,’ will see a wall of themed holograms – fully-animated demos and product showcases – giving delegates an immersive and futuristic visual experience.

Joining the roster of digital transformation and futuristic technologies will also be HP with its ‘Office of the Future’ – an AR concept of the workplace, designed to inspire businesses to modernise and optimise their working environments.

In addition to the visual exhibitions from vendors, delegates will also have the chance to channel their competitive edge with Dell’s interactive Esports activities and McLaren’s F1 simulator.

Commenting on the event, James Blackburn, Group marketing manager said: “Each year we’ve gone bolder and more ambitious with our targets, and pt19 is geared up to be the most impressive yet.

“We listened to the feedback from last year, and this will see dedicated meeting hubs in the exhibition area – providing space for developing partnerships.

“We’re really excited to bring all the latest technologies, partners and next-gen tech minds under one roof, seeing the diverse range of solutions that are – or will soon be – available on the market.”

Among the many tech launches, the event also has a keynote speaker line-up which includes:

•Author of Non-Bullshit Innovation: Radical Ideas from the World's Smartest Minds, David Rowan

•Olympic and world champion, Roger Black

•Channel director UK & Ireland of HUAWEI Enterprise, Michael Rae

•Vice president of UK & Ireland Channel of DELL Technologies, Rob Tomlin

•Commercial channel, growth partner sales manager of UK & Ireland for HP, Grant Thomas

Other key themes throughout the day will include security, blockchain, IoT, SaaS, AV, VR, AR and DaaS.

Group COO, Cliff Fox concluded: “As well as building on the size and momentum of pt18, this year we want to show how the industry is always innovating.

“We’re so proud to be the driving force behind the largest IT partner event of its kind in the North of England, but our ambition remains to expand that to the whole of the UK over the coming years.”
