UK Market Enthusiastic about Univerge SV8100

Towards the end of 2008 NEC Infrontia launched its new communication server, the UNIVERGE SV8100, to the UK market. Partners of NEC Infrontia gave an immediate positive reaction to the new product, which, with its attractively designed terminals and innovative applications such as MyCalls and Unified Communications for Business, offers organisations with up to 500 users an attractive and affordable communication solution.

Soon after the launch NEC Infrontia announced a first series of successful implementations and mentioned that market demand had far exceeded expectations. The fact that in such a short period of time over 300 systems have been sold in just the UK is definite proof that end customers are also receiving the new product with enthusiasm and experiencing its powerful offer.

Andrew Cooper, Sales Director commented ‘‘More and more customers realise that in the current challenging economic environment effective communications are crucial to boosting an organisation’s efficiency. Our versatile and unique applications in combination with the SV8100, helps our customers to achieve their efficiency goals. And moreover, the combination of platform and applications provides a strong Unified Communications solution.’’

The varied list of organisations throughout the UK demonstrates that the SV8100 systems fit to all possible market segments.

“Companies in such diverse industry sectors such as construction, healthcare, education, government, estate agencies and logistics are looking for a reliable and flexible system that at an attractive cost exploits state of the art technology to increase the efficiency and competitiveness of their organisation. Many of these exploit the opportunities we offer with IP DECT wireless communications. In this area we simply lead the pack. In addition to our fixed terminals the IP DECT handsets are exceptionally well designed and appealing. What meets the eye is not unimportant to customers”, concludes Cooper.
