UKFast Recognised in Sunday Times List

Hosting and colocation firm UKFast placed 28th in the Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For.

Lawrence Jones, CEO of UKFast, last year called for more Northern companies to step up to the plate as a great employer. In response to this year’s list, he said: “This year is the fifth year that we have been listed as one of the 100 Best Small Companies to Work For and each year I am surprised to see so few Manchester-based and Northern companies.

“There are some amazing companies in the city but these lists always seem to be packed with firms from the capital and down south. I believe you can create a great working environment and other rewards will naturally follow. Employers in the North should focus on that and share their experiences so that they’re recognised for looking after their employees.

“For us, the culture and environment at UKFast is something that I am really proud of and – although I may be responsible for the physical environment and, some might say, extravagant rewards – every single member of the team contributes to the atmosphere with their enthusiasm and energy.

“This accolade is a testament to the whole team. The list acts as a real benchmark for us, especially as we continue to develop our new HQ and grow the UKFast team.”
