UKFast has joined forces with MTBNorthWales, the region’s official mountain biking organisation to encourage safe cycling in the rural, mountainous area.
The sponsorship comes as the cloud technology specialist continues its announced investment in the area, where it has a training centre used by new recruits who visit to take part in outdoor activities including team climbs up Mount Snowdon.
CEO Lawrence Jones, who recently announced plans to focus on the regeneration of the region around his hometown of Denbigh, said: “North Wales is incredibly close to my heart and I know that, having visited the area on team building trips and induction training, many of the UKFast team share my love for North Wales and the mountains.
“We have recently joined forces with MTBNorthWales to help promote safe cycling in what can be tough terrain and to show the rest of the UK that although North Wales is very rural, there is still so much to do and it is an amazing place to visit.
“With clients including British Cycling and squash champion Laura Massaro, we are very proud to again be teaming up with an upcoming sporting institution.”
