Union Street Boosts Customer Support for WLR3

Union Street Technologies, the supplier of billing solutions for communication providers (CPs), has appointed Danielle Throm as Senior Project Manager for WLR3 customer deployment

In her new role Danielle will liaise with BT Openreach to assist with the establishment of Union Street CP customers as they migrate to WLR3. The aim is to ensure the smoothest transition possible for CPs using Union Street’s award winning WLR3 Portal Solution to interface with the BT Openreach Equivalence Management Platform (EMP).

Union Street is one of the first third party integrators to offer CPs a WLR3 solution that is ‘Business As Usual’ for all product types: Analogue, ISDN30 and ISDN2. While the WLR3 Portal is suitable for CPs using other billing platforms, when used in conjunction with the Union Street’s aBILLity billing platform, it gives significant additional business benefits including reduced data entry, faster order processing, extra validation and reduced errors.

Prior to joining Union Street, Danielle worked as a Project Manager for BT Openreach, managing the WLR3 service establishment process for many CPs. She also has 12 years experience in the comms industry. She lives in London and away from work enjoys travelling, sport and theatre going.

Commenting on Danielle’s appointment, Tony Cook, Managing Director of Union Street said, “We are pleased to have a professional of Danielle’s calibre joining us at this important time in the deployment of WLR3 for our customers. Danielle’s role as Senior Project Manager in our support team will make sure that Union Street customers enjoy a trouble free transition to WLR3. She has very relevant experience having worked for the last 2 years on WLR3 from within Openreach. Our aim is not just to provide commercially robust technology but the wrap around support to make the WLR3 Portal work for our customers.”
