Union Street provides Rainbow Telecom with WLR3

Union Street Technologies, the supplier of billing solutions for communication providers (CPs), has supplied Rainbow Telecom with the WLR3 Portal solution for integration with the company’s aBILLity billing platform.

Rainbow Telecom is a CP based in Kent, supplying phone systems, maintenance and support for its customer base. Rainbow Telecom has a direct subsidiary Rainbow Global Networks providing lines and call billing for customers.

While the Union Street WLR3 Portal Solution is suitable for CPs with other billing platforms, when used in conjunction with the aBILLlity billing platform, it gives significant additional business benefits in terms of reduced data entry, faster order processing, extra validation and reduced errors. Union Street has established itself as the leading provider of billing and WLR3 solutions for the UK telecoms channel.

Commenting on the move Dave Corgat, Managing Director of Rainbow Telecom said, “Like all CPs we must make the transition to WLR3 in the next nine months. We wanted to make sure we took up WLR3 early to make sure there was as little disruption to our customers as possible. Union Street’s integrated aBILLity billing platform and WLR3 Portal make it easy for us to implement this change.”

For Union Street, Tony Cook, Managing Director said, “We are now seeing a significant uptake in orders for our WLR3 Portal solution as the withdrawal of WLR2 come nearer. We are delighted that Rainbow Telecom has made the move now so that it can manage the transition well ahead of the final deadline next March.”
