Union Street Technologies has taken the content from its billing training courses and developed this into a series of video tutorials. Based on six day-long courses, the training videos feature content for aBILLity users of all skill levels and are available, free of charge, from the company’s partner support portal.
The training videos demonstrate how aBILLity’s features can be used, in accordance with industry best practice, to maximise the efficiency and profitability of billing operations. Union Street believes that making its training content more accessible in this way will help partners to leverage maximum value from aBILLity.
Head of Sales and Marketing, Vincent Disneur, appeared on Comms Business Live recently and in this clip explained why partners need to leverage the tools at their disposal in order to succeed. You can find the full episode below.
By making its training free to access and removing the need for partners to visit its offices, Union Street has in effect, also made it easier and cheaper for aBILLity users to attain its ‘Union Street Accredited Professional’ (USAP) qualification. Introduced in 2015, the USAP qualification certifies the knowledge and capabilities of billing professionals in the telecoms industry and their competence in using the aBILLity platform. Gaining the accreditation provides a range of benefits, including discounts on Union Street’s consultancy services and invitations to aBILLity user group meetings to discuss future product development.
Head of Sales and Marketing, Vincent Disneur, comments, “Mission critical software, such as aBILLity, has to be backed by phenomenal training. Delivering this has greatly contributed to the popularity of our solutions with the channel. By making our training programme available in video format, our user community of 3,500 billing professionals can freely access the training they need whenever they need it. This has the dual benefit of making the training required to gain the USAP qualification, the industry’s first billing qualification, much more accessible and cost effective. We hope this will encourage all our users to gain the qualification and enjoy the benefits it provides.”
