Uniworld Communications to offer IP services from Gamma Telecom

Network reseller Uniworld Communications has announced that it will be offering its dealers access to two more of the Gamma Telecom IP Telephony services in order to keep ahead of the rapidly expanding IP market.

Uniworld will be offering Gamma’s latest services, ‘FeaturePlus’ and ‘Converter’, which have recently been launched to the market. The two new services follow closely behind Gamma’s IPDirectConnect, which Uniworld adopted in April this year.

Kim Robinson, Managing Director of UniWorld, commented: “The market place is continuing to be disrupted by IP Telephony, and many of our dealers are concerned about what kind of services they need to offer and how to sell these innovative solutions into new and existing customers. We have tried to take some of the confusion out of the situation by offering a simple range of solutions, which will cover all of the customers’ needs. We are running regular and comprehensive training sessions with our dealers to ensure they understand the solutions and are able to offer their customers greater value added products in order to increase revenues”.

FeaturePlus and Converter will provide Uniworld’s dealers with the opportunity to sell a low cost alternative to purchasing expensive IP-compatible equipment, as well as offering value added services and lower cost calls. Depending on the service selected, dealers will also be able to offer their end-users ‘lower cost calls’, free calls between linked sites and the ability to rationalise their ISDN lines, leading to a reduction in total costs.
