Uniworld Elite Club Gets Off to a Flying Start

Uniworld Communications has launched its Elite Club community for top performing channel partners and dealers. Fifteen inaugural members, who had earned their places in the club through achieving above-target sales of Uniworld’s telecom products and also committing to continue placing high levels of business, attended a kick-off meeting at the Goodwood Motor Race Circuit near Chichester, Hampshire.

Hosted by David Thorn, Head of Channel for Uniworld, the Elite Club meeting gave members an exclusive early look at some of the new data services and mobile packages the company is due to launch shortly.

“The purpose of our new Elite Channel Partner club is to incentivise and reward our top CPs to stay loyal to Uniworld and in return we offer them a package of benefits and support functions that will help them get to market more effectively.” said Thorn.

“We presented our six month roadmap of sales and marketing activity and introduced our new marketing surgeries – a series of one-to-one meetings where we help our partners with concentrated marketing support, such as tailored promotional campaigns, specialist product training and bespoke special events and help to ensure they are best equipped to grow their revenue streams with Uniworld.”

Later in the day, the team had the opportunity to drive some classic and performance cars around the Goodwood race track, including a Cobra, Aston Martin DB4, Porche and Ferrari. Finally the club members showed their competitive edge in a closely run go-kart race on the circuit.

Thorn said “Goodwood proved to be an absolutely perfect, high quality venue for our kick-off event. The motor racing was the kind of experience that our guests will never forget, with a great choice of cars and expert tuition. In the evening we were treated to a fantastic meal and accommodation. The feedback from our guests was first class and we are already now working on plans to drive our successful relationships further forward, before our next Elite Club event.”

Richard Reid, Director of Amillan, who attended the event, commented: “This was a great start to the Elite Club and a fantastic day out, but it’s also about establishing a community where we can share market experiences and selling skills to make the whole telecoms sales process easier for everyone. It enables us as partners to feel part of a close-knit networking group and helps to cement key business relationships.”

Uniworld says its active channel partner and dealer base is the healthiest it has ever been, and with a record number of new partners having joined the team in the last sixteen months, revenues and margins for 2011 continue to grow.
