Varlink is pleased to announce the launch of the PG200, a pocket-sized GNSS receiver to its Trimble portfolio. The GNSS receiver is designed to provide sub-metre precision to users of any connected Bluetooth device including mobile phones, tablets and Trimble handheld computers.
Capable of supporting multiple GNSS constellations including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou, the PG200 provides professional data collection globally. It delivers real-time data from any device supporting Windows and Windows Mobile, Android and IOS platforms and with the ability to utilise SBAS, Trimble ViewPoint RTX or VRS correction sources to suit business needs and achieve sub-metre accuracy via IP or satellite connectivity.
Built with the user in mind, the PG200 features a 1.2 metre drop spec, IP rating of 65 and MIL-STD-810G certification demonstrating ruggedness for harsh working environments. It’s extremely lightweight and compact design makes it easy to carry for a full working shift. The device can be pole-mounted, carried in a vest pocket or attached to a belt using the optional belt pouch and its all day battery life makes it ideal for demanding shift usage.
