Vc-net Sign Distribution Agreement with Visual Nexus

Collaboration specialist vc-net has joined forces with Visual Nexus, bringing affordable, high quality video conferencing to the desktop. The distribution agreement means that all medium and large enterprises operating in a distributed environment – e.g. law firms and small banks - can now benefit from the productivity, cost savings and important ‘green’ (energy saving) advantages offered by conducting many of their face-to-face meetings from their desktop.

The combination of Visual Nexus, a software solution combining the best video experience and collaboration tools, and vc-net’s extensive expertise in collaborative work environments, will offer customers high quality, visual collaboration tools and services from desktop video conferencing to instant messaging (IM).

Geoff Seabrook, Managing Director of Visual Nexus explains: “Video conferencing is simply too expensive for many business critical tasks, for example training in-house solicitors on the latest changes in legislation, or training remote call centre staff. vc-net can install its own video enabled networks, providing a range of services that can guide the customer through the visual collaboration process. By combining these capabilities with the Visual Nexus solution, a unique solution is created meeting real business needs. This is why we’ve entered into this agreement. Together we can offer companies a reliable and high quality visual collaboration solution at the desktop, at a price they can afford.”

Julie Brightwell, Partner Marketing Manager, vc-net comments: “Cost savings, efficiency and carbon offsetting are important issues for today’s IT Directors looking to outsource key aspects of their technology requirements. Working with a partner like Visual Nexus, we have the technology to offer customers true peace of mind and enable them to remain competitive and transform their businesses.”
