Veam announces Cloud Provider Programme

Cloud
Veeam Software disaster recovery planning and the management of VMware vSphere and Windows Server Hyper-V virtual data centres, is announcing new advantages that will improve its Veeam Cloud Provider (VCP) programme. Veeam offers the community of hosting providers, telecoms operators and cloud service providers, a flexible license contract perfectly suited to their à la carte or one-time service sales model.

Now with more than 1200 VCP providers in the EMEA region, Veeam is generating real success in the sale of licenses on a rental basis invoiced per VM. The EMEA region is now totally covered by a network of distributors/aggregators offering Veeam rental license contracts. This demonstrates the extent of both partners’ interest and Veeam's investment in sustaining this rapidly growing market.

The new advantages of the 2013 VCP Programme

Rental license with volume commitment: tailored to medium and large-sized hosting providers, this new license model is based on a monthly commitment to a volume of consumption for one, or several Veeam solutions over a period of one year.

Additional discounts: based on its commitment, the VCP partner will benefit from additional discounts and funds for local marketing and sales initiatives.

“This new commitment-based rental model has been added to the existing Veeam permanent licence and monthly invoicing per VM models. This new offer to our catalogue increases the flexibility of hosting and cloud service providers when designing their range of services, and enables them to reduce the cost of fixed assets even further. It will also allow them to expand their positioning into the Cloud community", says Gilles Pommier, Channel Director for Europe Middle East and Africa at Veeam.
