The special ‘V’ edition Nokia phones come complete with cutting-edge technology and include exclusive V Festival content. The Nokia 5230V is a stylish touchscreen handset with a custom V Festival red back cover and ten free music tracks available through the Nokia Music Store. The Nokia X6V comes complete with a 5 megapixel camera, a music player including mixing software, plus built-in speakers, so festival-goers can carry on the party after the acts have finished.

The app will also allow festival goers to create their own personalised programme for the weekend and a GPS map of the entire site so they can head straight from stage to stage and find their friends with ease.

Jonathan Kini, director of mobile, at Virgin Media, said: “We’re really excited to be partnering with Nokia to offer our customers the complete festival package this summer. The special ‘V’ edition handsets launching in July will be the perfect partner for revellers and the new V Festival app will transform their weekend, with the latest festival info available at the touch of a button.”
