Virtual1 is launching a new version of its partner portal – 1Portal which is set to see partner order times significantly reduced.
The latest version of the web-based portal, builds on existing capabilities to include automated ordering, carrier-price comparison and e-sign leaving partners with more time to focus on their customers – on or off the golf course.
Virtual1 sees the 1Portlal upgrade, which is being launched with an in-house partner training day followed by golf lessons, as the first of its kind in the UK Channel space. MD, Tom O’Hagan, explained: “As a wholesale-only business, our focus is very much on our partners. Earlier this year, we looked at areas where we could improve as a business to in turn enable our partners to be more efficient. The new features, notably the ability to place orders seamlessly through the portal, reduce lead times for partners and their end-customers. I’m delighted to say this is the only Portal of its kind in the UK IT channel space.”
The enhanced features of the newly launched portal include:
•Carrier price comparison – tail provider visibility
•Online ordering – from hardware through to bandwidth
•Secure electronic signing
•Secure access from anywhere

Virtual1 is running a series of online training webinars as well as an in-house training day for all partners as part of the launch.
