Virtual1 has reported a 30% growth in Ethernet volumes vs last year, driven by the enhanced coverage and control offered by their fully Software Defined Network.
With this increase in volumes, they want to make Flexible Bandwidth even easier and more attractive, so have now removed the admin charge from a Virtual 1 circuit. All partners can now flex bandwidth up and back to a committed minimum on demand, they will simply charge for the increased bandwidth used, for a minimum of 24 hours.
Head of Products & Marketing Neil Wilson commented “We have been listening closely to our partners, and in particular those who have spotted some of the vertical opportunities that bandwidth flexibility can open up. We were very keen to support these and remove any potential barriers to their success. “
“This move keeps Virtual1’s Partners at the forefront of the market in terms of control, as our automation empowers them to stand out and add value to their customers”
Wilson recently appeared on the Comms Business live stream at Channel Live. See what he had to say below.
Virtual1 specialises in the delivery of high speed connectivity solutions to over 180 towns and cities in the UK, using the countries first fully software defined network. Virtual1’s partners can leverage that network through their customer service interface, 1Portal, and suite of API’s.
