Virtual1 has become the first company ever to win 3 awards on one night at the Comms Business Awards. In a night of unprecedented success, Virtual1 was named as ISP of the Year (Reader Vote) and Wholesale Network Operator of the Year. In addition, Virtual1’s Managing Director Tom O’Hagan was awarded Channel Entrepreneur of the Year.
After the awards, O’Hagan said “I cannot express what these awards mean to me and to my team. 2013 has so far been a phenomenal year for the company: we have launched our own London network, doubled our datacentre capacity and increased our workforce by a third, and it is great to see these achievements – and the hard work and commitment of my team – recognised in these awards. I am particularly delighted by the ISP of the Year award since this was voted for by the readers of Comms Business, our Partners: we are proud to have earned this title.”
A key achievement for Virtual1 – and a deciding factor in the awards – has been the launch of its London network, delivering highly competitive Ethernet connectivity across the key business districts of the Capital.
O’Hagan continued “I believe truly that investment is the key to success and I am 100% committed to investing in Virtual1 to ensure that we can continue to deliver the best products and the best services to our Partners and their customers.”
