Vodafone arms channel partners with CityFibre ethernet services

Vodafone has expanded its fixed connectivity offering for channel partners to include ethernet services for business customers using CityFibre infrastructure. The agreement offers a low-cost service with faster data speeds in a choice of bandwidth packages including 1Gbps and 100Mbps options.

Vodafone will use CityFibre’s ethernet infrastructure to offer more local access options. Partners will be able to offer their business customers an alternative and cost-effective high bandwidth ethernet service in 12 UK towns and cities.

Kathy Quashie, head of indirect business, Vodafone UK (pictured), said, “Supporting and expanding our portfolio for channel partners is essential to our ambition as we go forward. Working with CityFibre to add Ethernet services is fantastic news for partners who are looking to offer their customers compelling and cost-effective connectivity solutions.”

The service is initially available in Cambridge, Coventry and Peterborough. Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Huddersfield, Leeds, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Portsmouth and Southend-on-Sea will follow over the next few months.
