Voiceflex Offers Great SIP Trunk Flexibility

The SIP Trunk market is now a mature market, 2.3 million SIP Trunks have been sold and there are 2 million ISDN channels to be changed out for SIP Trunks or hosted applications. The view from analyst firm Cavell Group is that 20% of the available market will be sold in the next 2-3 years with the rest being drip fed until 2023 when there will be a surge before the ISDN turn off in 2025.

Over the last 24 months, there has been a trend towards product bundles.  As a result, in 2016 Voiceflex carried out due diligence on the feasibility of offering bundled products to all our channel partners.  After some tweaking, we now have the right blend of application, price and terms & conditions. Where some carriers have opted for a bundle only option, we decided this was a too restrictive and consequently offer Bundled SIP Trunks (SIPTB) and Standard SIP Trunks (SSIPT) which don’t have a call bundle package.

Paul Taylor Sales & Marketing Director, Voiceflex commented on the launch: "We have launched these new bundles as it is important to us that as a 100% channel business we continue to develop services that enable our partners to stay ahead of competition and provides our partners with a robust proposition.”

From the due diligence undertaken the company says offering only a bundled SIP Trunks package meant customers were forced to seek alternative providers if the call spend was too low or too high.

Voiceflex says that having both options is proving to be the right decision with channel partners as they have seen increased sales since their soft launch of the option on 1st Feb 2017.

The supplier adds, 'SIP Trunks are not all about cost. In this very competitive market reliability, network topology, fraud, CLI presentation, call recording, number provision and number porting should be considered when looking or changing supplier. Areas that Voiceflex provides enabling its partners to deliver high-quality working solutions critical to winning business.'
