Voip.co.uk Ramps Up UC Channel Strategy

Unified Comms
Voip.co.uk is preparing to launch its new channel partner programme following the acquisition of Danish unified communications specialist, Firstcom, with a strategy designed to increase sales.

The new partner programme will be headed up by Voip.co.uk’s Chris Harding, promoted to Channel Director, with the newly appointed Adam Millington in support as Channel Manager.

Commenting on the channel partner programme, Adam Crisp, Voip.co.uk’s Co-Founder and CTO, explains: “The majority of our sales come via the channel so it is extremely important to ensure our approach is right when it comes to launching our Firstcom unified comms suite later this year. With Chris at the helm, already well known and trusted by our existing partners, bolstered by Adam’s support, we are confident in our ability to provide the highest level of support for partners and end-users.”

Voip.co.uk’s in-house technical expertise coupled with superior product reliability will empower channel partners to focus on sales rather than wasting valuable time on maintenance issues. In addition, Voip.co.uk’s expanded product portfolio will allow partners to become a one-stop-shop for clients’ unified communications needs.

Adam Crisp continues: “Later this year, we will be organising a series of training events at our Oxfordshire headquarters to ensure new and existing channel partners are up-to-speed with our unified communications suite. We are very much looking forward to developing new relationships as well as continuing to work with some of our existing partners in regional hubs across the UK.”

Voip.co.uk acquired 85% ownership of Danish unified communications firm, Firstcom, for an undisclosed sum earlier this year. The company provides Voice over IP cloud based services and is most known for its superior SIP Encrypt product, compliant with Payment Card Industry Data Security standards.
