VoSKY Exchange PBX-to-Skype Now Mitel Compatible

VoSKY, the developer of Skype for business solutions, has announced that its VoSKY Exchange VISIP-EX PBX-to-Skype gateway has achieved the Mitel-Compatible Test (MCT) certification with the Mitel 3300 IP Communications Platform (ICP).

The VoSKY Exchange VISIP-EX integrates to the Mitel 3300 ICP via industry standard Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) to enable it to connect to Skype, the world’s largest VoIP community with over 440 million registered users. As a cost-effective add-on to the Mitel 3300 ICP, companies will be able to add enhanced business-class applications like Web Click-to-Call, Skype Trunking, Remote Access, Voice VPN and Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) to enhance communication/collaboration and reduce telecom costs.

“We are delighted to have achieved the Mitel-Compatible certification”, said David Tang, VP of Global Marketing at VoSKY. “Our cooperation with Mitel enables enterprises that are using Mitel’s state-of-the-art 3300 ICP to realize tremendous cost savings and productivity improvements with Skype.”

VoSKY is a member of the Mitel Solutions Alliance (MSA), a comprehensive program enabling third-party partners to successfully create products and services that tightly integrate and / or interoperate with Mitel’s core business communications portfolio.

“VoSKY’s unique PBX-to-Skype gateways enhance our unified communications solution to allow organizations to connect with Skype,” said David Lowenstein, Director of Business Development for MSA. “By working with companies like VoSKY, Mitel is even better positioned to deliver solutions that address the specific business challenges of our customers.”
