Voxbit unveils Snom and Microsoft Teams integration

Voxbit, a provider of internet communications and VoIP phones, has partnered with IP phone manufacturer Snom Technology to deliver a new collaborative tool that will allow Microsoft Teams users to include Snom phones as part of their telephony solution.

Voxbit’s Byphone management system platform combines high-performance features, audio quality and design of a Snom handset with the flexibility of Microsoft Teams. This integration enables fluid and flexible communications as employees who don’t use Microsoft Teams can use their Snom handset to carry out direct calls and transfers to individuals from a Teams extension, using direct routing technology.

James Wells, head of channel at Byphone, explained, ‘‘The new world of work has prompted a drastic shift in how business users communicate. Employees need increased flexibility, but not at the expense of high-quality, robust audio interactions. Our latest solution is a perfect blend of these two needs; we are delighted to be able to include Snom’s portfolio of IP phones in our platform alongside Microsoft Teams.’’

Mark Wiegleb, head of interop, Snom, added, “The Byphone solution is a seamless integration of Snom devices with Microsoft Teams on their platform and the real winners here are the people using the system to make calls. Not only do they benefit from the superior audio quality of a Snom phone plus all of the additional on-device features, they can also enjoy all of the advantages available to Teams users. Ultimately, it’s all about preference and choice, and Byphone hand those decisions to the users themselves.”
