Vuzion has expanded into Ireland with its first international business, Vuzion Ireland. The company has appointed Kieran McDonnell as country manager, and opened of an office in Sandyford, Dublin.
McDonnell joins from Microsoft, with a remit to grow Vuzion’s partner community within Ireland, and support the ISV and IT reseller community’s transformation to the cloud. With Microsoft Azure and solutions based on Office 365 and Dynamics 365, Vuzion Ireland will assist IT resellers and ISVs make the most of cloud solutions by making the process of integrating, servicing, supporting and billing simple, straightforward and cost effective.
Vuzion will help resellers build their own customer-ready Azure solutions, including bespoke solutions that allow partners to differentiate themselves with service delivery and their own unique capabilities.
Vuzion has recently partnered with AvePoint, a Microsoft Cloud expert, to provide AvePoint’s Office 365 managed services solution through Vuzion’s cloud marketplace.
Michael Frisby, Managing Director at Vuzion, said, “Building on the success of Vuzion in the UK I am excited that we are bringing our capabilities and services to help Irish partners grow profitable cloud businesses in a simple and straightforward manner.”
McDonnell added, “With the Cloud Solution Provider programme, more partners have the opportunity to be the trusted advisors who best understand customer needs, and they are helped by Vuzion who provides the pre- and post-sales support, professional services, training and resources to make this happen. They can go back to the customer again and again with new solutions solving business problems and outcomes. This will help partners transform their businesses with new revenue and service models.”
Last year, Vuzion formed a partnership to bring Union’s Managed Services solutions to small to medium sized businesses (SMBs).
Aisling Curtis Director of SMSP at Microsoft said, “We are strongly encouraging Partners to use the Cloud Solution Provider model to supplement their own resources with those available from Indirect providers such as Vuzion. Resources such as 24/7 support, professional and managed services are what customers are expecting from partner offerings. Using services provided by Vuzion, Irish partners can build their own solutions and services without having to make a substantial investment to build infrastructure to support their transition to the cloud.”
